Use of Tungsten Steel Blades

Tungsten steel blade slitting thin knife has extremely high wear resistance, and the service life of cutting corrugated cardboard is more than ten times that of ordinary high-speed steel thin knife. Proper use can improve the cutting quality and extend the life of the blade, and vice versa. In the production, the breaking of the blade is a headache.

Because the tungsten steel blade is high in hardness and brittle, it must be handled gently, placed horizontally during handling, storage and installation. Do not collide with any hard objects. Thin and thin knives with low precision and slow speed should not use tungsten steel knives, as this will shorten the life of the blades.

Loading the knife: Before loading the knife, be sure to check whether the running end of the cutter head is normal (0.1mm) and whether the flatness of the cutter head meets the standard.

Whether there is any foreign matter on the disc and the blade, and the blade and the cutter disc are wiped clean and the knife is loaded into the cutter head. Make sure that the blade and the cutter disc have no foreign matter and that the clamping plate bolts are tightened diagonally after the gap is correct. The force is even and the tension is moderate. Avoid hard assembly, hitting the blade, dry friction between the blade and the lower seat, otherwise the blade will be broken. It is recommended to add a paper washer between the Tungsten Carbide Cutter Blade and the platen to cushion the tough fit between the blade and the platen.

Sharpening: Correctly adjust the gap between the blade and the grinding wheel. If the gap is wrong, the blade will be broken when the knife is broken.

After installing the grinding wheel, check whether the grinding wheel seat bolt is loose. If the grinding wheel end face is too large, the impact will cause the blade to break. The angle of the grinding wheel should be approximately the same as the angle of the Carbide Alloy Blade. The size of the knife-grinding block and the stroke of the moving block determine the stability effect when sharpening the knife, and the stroke clearance is required to be between 3-5 mm. When sharpening the knife, the speed of the grinding wheel should be slowed down. The air pressure is about 2kg, and the grinding wheel should not be impacted.
